@regadetula@Djbienaime It’s incredible what happens when the fastest teenagers in the world aren’t making too much money being paid by foreign governments or in diamond league to run college track anymore.
Catching up on @SethCPayne & @SeanTPendergast, and when discussing Paraguay, Sean described them as “land-locked like Deleware”.
Now I am curious to know how Sean thinks they came up with the name for the Delaware Bay.
@SeanTPendergast They think they’re financial experts by saying they have taxes taken out of their paycheck. And then they’re subtracting LIVING EXPENSES from their paycheck as if all other working families aren’t also using their paychecks to cover the cost of “living” and “the house”.
@FB_FilmAnalysis If this stat is meant to highlight his “gravity”, couldn’t Kobe have just passed it to the wide open guy instead of hoping they get his rebound if he misses?
@TweeterSerious@michaelschwab13 I will admit I’m watching on about a 2.5” pop out player on my phone while also scrolling Twitter, but to me he looked safe.
@ManiaPick@AstrosFuture He should go one time through the lineup once every 3 or 4 days. It annoys me that the Astros don’t allow themselves to get specialized with the way they use their arms.
@JeremyBranham Yes. It was a wasted pick along the same lines of many of the other wasted picks Nick Caserio has used over the years. Trading up for Metchie and whatnot.
I can’t remember a player that the Texans have drafted who I never heard of before the draft and turned out to be good.
@SeanTPendergast People forget about taxes on their $200M. When you consider the tax rate, you can hardly afford to buy a fleet of AH-64 Apache Attack Helicopters which a single one cost $20M alone. https://t.co/tMsldVqmIk
Rich Paul:
“I got guys, 22, making $200M over the next 4 or 5 years. I'm constantly telling them that's not a lot of money based upon where you're starting, because you're starting from zero… Not to mention jeans today, the ones they want that they're buying in excess, which they probably don't really need, cost $2,000… No athlete can afford to fly private all the time, yet we see so many athletes on Instagram flying private. I fly Delta.”
