As it's Friday, I'm asking all my followers to please retweet this photo to help my little bird account to beat the algorithm and be seen!🙏
To make it worth sharing, here's a cute Robin having a bath! 😍
Thank you so much!😊🐦

@bartlett_mrs Thank you. If they are found in the Cairngorms, Halkyn Mountain should be a suitable place for them. Hope you had a good festive holiday.
Big cupboards for a big herbarium. #KewHerbarium - arguably the global centre for identification of wild plant species - is under threat of relocation away from Kew AND the researchers who work there. Sign the petition, stop the move https://t.co/zNKAu9U1w3 #curation#herbarium
I’ve been so lucky to see some beautiful species in 2022! My faves & all new to me. 🔁 Sword-leaved Helleborine, Green Hellebore,Toasted & Crimson Waxcap, Sea Holly Broomrape, Fen Orchid, Pink Waxcap, Violet Coral, white form of Marsh Helleborine, Ivy Broomrape & Lesser Twayblade
#StainedglassSunday Two of the windows in the upper storey of the museum in Mazères. The house, belonging to a woad merchant in 1600s, was extensively renovated in the last part of the 20C. These are right Renaissance period but not sure if they are original to the house.
Already scorching.
Early morning #bbq brekky outside our beach hut on lovely Abersock #beach.

And, before anyone comments, yes we do have a spade to bury the bbqs when we’re done.
I can’t tell you how bowled over I was by this beauty - I mean just look at it! 😍 It seems too exotic for Britain! Sword-leaved Helleborine, Cephalanthera longifolia, sadly one of our most threatened orchids which has seriously declined in the last 30 years. #WildflowerHour
Went on first field meeting for over two years today with Flintshire Botany Group, had just the best time with such wonderful people & saw so many gorgeous plants, inc. Adder’s-tongue, Changing Forget-me-not & Mountain Everlasting. Huge thanks to @midgemave for leading meeting☺️
