Strengthening Legal Skills. Building Future-Ready Legal Professionals

The Management & Entrepreneurship and Professional Skills Council (MEPSC), an awarding body under the Skill India framework of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, and LexFinis Foundation, India’s first Legal Finishing School, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in New Delhi.

This collaboration brings together expertise in skill development and legal education to jointly design, deliver, and certify the “Professional Foundations in Advocacy and Courtroom Skills” vocational programme.

The programme aims to bridge the gap between legal education and practical workplace requirements, enabling law students and young lawyers to build the confidence and competencies needed for professional practice.

This partnership is a significant step towards skilling, upskilling, and enhancing the employability of law graduates across India, while contributing to the national vision of developing a confident, competent, and future-ready workforce.

Her leadership and extensive experience in economic governance, evidence-based policymaking and the skilling ecosystem continue to play a pivotal role in driving India's vision of a future-ready workforce.
