@WeAreSTV Any idea why this 'Scottish' network broadcast two and a halfway hours of a meaningless friendly between Man U and Leeds U at peak time tonight?
Finally wrestled back control of the Valves Bandcamp site - so we're releasing more auld stuff back into the wild - specifically the two 49-years-old singles/sleeves. Might not be around for the 50y anniversary, after all...

The Horizon post office scandal is one of the greatest miscarriages of justice in our nationβs history. We will make sure the truth comes to light. We will right the wrongs.
We will get victims the justice they deserve. π
Tenth anniversary today of the Valves reunion gig at the Liquid Rooms - the start of our... I want to say 'renaissance'...
All thanks to Gordon's energy and enthusiasm - we miss you, bud.

For anyone who cares about the Valves after the 70s split, Dee and Pada were in The Mudsharks with Keith Burns, Alan Marshall, Stuart Niz and Carl. Alan has digitised the tape from our only demo and here it is - https://t.co/t1dmdWrU1n
Dave's lyrics are superb BTW.
@franmccloskey Wish I could recall more details myself, Fran, but it's on the list of gigs documented by Ronnie in the history page of the Valves website - between Carlow and Dublin. We had a great time on that tour - thanks for reminding us of good times. Cheers, Pada
Sorry to say that Gordon Dair passed away yesterday - a ferocious drummer whose determination got Valves 2.0 up and running. But most of all, a great friend and a good guy. Thank you for your kind comments. Our condolences to Nuria and Jo.
@ehfm_live kindly asked me to create a special for St. Andrews Day. Our cover stars are @mighty_valves and this show is dedicated to the memory of Gordon Dair one of the nicest, most genuine human beings I've ever worked with at The Wee Red Bar -https://t.co/QC5MwOM78A
@Sickboy_Mcsatan@Beathhigh Thanks for the Amazon play - another 0.00002p in our bulging coffers. πΈπ°And non-Scots are always impressed when they hear that the Mighties played the Carnegie Hall....
Wot - No 'No Surf in Portobello' - and they call themselves Edinburgh Music Lovers? Who's for marching on Holyrood with us? #Porty

Thanks to all who swerved Scotland Calling to see the Mighties at the Wee Red Bar last night. I doubt if you enjoyed yourselves more than the band did. Thanks to Colvin, Luke, Rab on the lights, MSATW on support and friends and families. And Β£350 raised for Unicef Ukraine fund.
