@BoundaryBreak The good news is this is meant to be a reboot so it will hopefully be a static baseline for new and old fans moving forward. It also adds potential longevity for these actors since they won't have to worry about sounding the same as 30 years ago for another 30+ years.
@MetroidMike64 GVG made an excellent video about the voice direction that makes me a little more excited for a game I otherwise wasn't super jazzed for. It'll be interesting to see how they end up approaching things, especially since 64 (3D) also isn't going anywhere.

@MetroidMike64 This game does a weird thing where the credits come well before the actual end. Rather than post game content, those chapters are just the rest of the game.
@BoundaryBreak That's just the illusion of choice, not nonlinear design. Mario 3 isn't a nonlinear game because you can visit a Toad House between levels.
@PKMNBST@FERMOR_23@SpawnWaveMedia This was shared on the Japanese Nintendo news page. Not sure why it isn't being posted by Nintendo's other regional news, but event distributions like this tend to be worldwide.

@AndreSegers Free with your $49.99/year subscription, though I'm starting to see why they don't offer a monthly option or a free trial for the expansion pack.
@Stealth40k I think a mid to late April Direct makes sense. Assuming they keep their cadence of 1-2 games a month (including Switch 2 editions), we don't currently have any first party games scheduled for June. Rhythm Heaven and Fire Emblem feel like summer or fall releases to me as well.
@MetroidMike64 Might be misremembering, but I'm pretty sure each mode retains its last connection as well so you shouldn't have to re-pair it to the Analogue after swapping back to mode D.
@MetroidMike64 Did you remember to change the switch on the back to S? I know it needs to be set to D to connect to the Analogue, and sometimes I forget to change it.
@BoundaryBreak The problem is this isn't the Metroid Prime 1 team, it's a team designed to resemble them as best as possible. It's unreasonable to trust them that much on their first totally new project.
@KojyXenia@BoundaryBreak Those look like the NEXT brand grips from Best Buy. I've been using those as well and have been overall comfortable, with some control scheme tweaks. They also don't block any buttons which was surprisingly hard to find.
@LuigiTKO@BoundaryBreak There's full button remapping in the game. There's even an advanced option that lets you remap unknown actions before you learn those abilities.
@ilovethe7thday@AndreSegers The real test is going to be if the Labo VR game card runs on Switch 2. If it does, the Virtual Boy cardboard headset looks like it might work as a Switch 2 compatible Labo VR headset with some screen size adjustment.
