Last weekend I passed two "national schools", Sawagongo and Maseno.
What I found in "Sawa" is a story for another day.
Maseno!?
Home to over 4K students, but having only a single medic - a nurse. Yes, a single nurse. And was not even in her station then.
When I was in medical school, I knew a guy who almost never showed up.
He skipped lectures.
Called in sick for labs and tutorials.
Basically vanished for most of the year.
The night before our second-year finals, he was hanging out at my place and casually mentioned that he’d spent the last week watching the entire year’s lectures at 2x speed.
I thought he was doomed.
He ended up placing in the top 10 out of roughly 300 students.
In every exam.
The crazy part wasn’t just that he remembered the material. He had a deeper, more practical understanding of it than a lot of people who had attended every lecture.
Watching him was both impressive and slightly terrifying.
I always thought that if he ever decided to fully apply himself, he’d be unstoppable.
But he seemed perfectly happy doing the bare minimum and still outperforming almost everyone.
Enyewe medicine is becoming a scum of the century! Ama ni mmi sielewi! I interacted with a certain lady who did MBCHB abroad for 5yrs and what I learned is that hajawahi shika patients during her training in Russia ! Alikuwa anaona fire 😂😂😂🔥🔥
I saw Chelsea win the UCL in 2012

Keep your babies safe.
As we approach elections, wicked politicians are rushing to offer human sacrifices to their gods in return for a hypnotised society and electoral victory.
Men,
Before you marry,
Scrutinize her elder sisters,
If her sisters are not married,
Or divorced,
Or party girls,
Or pops babies from different men,
Or outrightly dramatic,
Bro, 🚩
- you are sliding into a bottomless pit.
Abandon that mission.

So today i was asked to go back and wear the lifecare uniform. I stay very far from work.

One day, you will pay school fees, hospital bills, and salaries.
You will stay awake calculating figures while others sleep peacefully.
It is the day you will realize your father carried a weight you never understood.
Now it is your turn,
The burden is heavy, but it is SACRED.
Your FATHER carried it, now carry it for your son.
