33 years ago, post soviet russia was starting its first of many wars. In my country, Moldova. Lives were lost. Families were broken. Moldova is until now divided.
We honored the memory and sacrifice of those who fought to defend our country and our freedom. We will not forget.
We honour today the heroes who defended Moldova’s sovereignty and independence in 1992 against Russia’s aggression.
As the Kremlin once again tries to divide us, using energy as blackmail, we stand firm. Peace and democracy are our choice and sovereignty is our right.
