Giving the opening keynote at #Devoxx Belgium was a huge honor and the largest audience I have spoken. 🎤It was amazing to come to the conference that started @Devoxx4Kids and to stand on stage with @Stephan007 and talk about how parents can raise young coders.👾👩💻
All the #Devoxx Belgium Deep Dive talks from the 2nd day are now available on the companion app and our YouTube channel! #Enjoy 🍿

Yesterday at the #TornadoVM deep dive, we presented #TornadoInsight - an #opensource IntelliJ plugin that helps devs learn the TornadoVM API via static analysis & dynamic inspection.
Extended in @P2CODE_eu, and coming to #MPLR25 next week!

@rnayabed Thanks. We only use modules for #JDK and #JavaFX deps. For the rest, we just use the classpath. When we experimented we also had issues with #gRPC and modules.
Finally some time for #JavaFX :-) I'm working on a #gRPC based image processing app. Server runs on Jetson Nano, Java client on PC. Here's a screenshot of the upcoming application. #java
@ChrisGSeaton@Raumzeitfalle@graalvm No, there's no pure Java version. We use a lot of things that are not supported by Java without native libraries (posix stuff like shared mem etc). We tried Graal but it didn't support native-image on arm64. The latest release seems to have fixed that though.
@Raumzeitfalle Thanks. Yes, we (https://t.co/g2zb92ogAD) do low volume dispensing. The image processing exists in multiple versions. One is based on javacv. All talk #gRPC. The visualization is purely done in #JavaFX.
Check out https://t.co/9Cur561gXH ... this website was authored in #JavaFX by @dlemmermann with technical support from @FlorianKirmaier, and is a repository of knowledge and real-world applications created using #JavaFX!
Here's #JavaFX 17 (upcoming) running on @OpenJDK 11 on a @Raspberry_Pi in kiosk-mode, with @GluonHQ and @pi4j, join in with the discussions on https://t.co/zeggXEOtb9 and on its Slack: https://t.co/5aEs570kEA
New product: Gluon Embedded. Fastest full-screen Java UI on embedded devices. 100% pure Java and JavaFX.

It is great to see so many areas where Java is used, and Foojay provides a 360 degree overview of what happens with/in Java!
@William_Antonio @dlemmermann Thanks for mentioning it! I should revisit the project. Since its last release the backend libraries received more features, such as basic SVG support and a simple API for threads and general sweeping algorithms. Several years ago we used it at J1 for creating the PiOnWheels bot.
@hansolo_ Lieben Dank! We didn't meet in a very long time. I hope we can change that soon :-) Sorry for being lazy on twitter. Just noticed you mentioned one of my projects a couple of weeks ago and I didn't react at all.
JavaFX 16 is released! Get it from maven central, or from https://t.co/GI3Dqmcj2l .
