My only complaint about these sort of games is how short they are. Same price tag as games you put hundreds of hours in yet you fully finish these ones in 20 hours.

I loved the spider-man games but each game was like 20-30 hours to 100% with not much else to do afterwards

I just 100% completed Marvel’s Wolverine on the PS5 Pro. My thoughts:

+ visuals and sound design are great, the nighttime city lighting is stunning
+ the gore and the pure brutality is awesome
+ voice acting is seriously good
+ combat is brutal!
+ love the rage mode and techniques
+ enjoyed the story

- combat can get repetitive
- no exploration or side quests
- boss battles a bit meh
- finished the story in 14 hours (with 50% collectibles), could be done in 12.
- Platinum in under 20 hours.

Overall I enjoyed it, but is it worth £70?

There’s no point even trying to debate with half of them they just call you a faggot and have no valid reasoning for any of the hateful shit they type out from their dirty 1 bedroom apartment. GTA has always been far fetched have you even seen some of the shit the male protagonist do? Or is it just not questioned because they don’t have tits? As for her fighting 3 dudes she’s a trained boxer and we got like a 5 second clip of her blocking like 2 shots and throwing 2 punches. I think she might stand a chance against 3 average build white blokes, the one fight we see against someone bigger than her she literally gets absolutely fucked up.

“Accusing” these people of “bigotry” and “sexism” isn’t accusing at all, it’s simply calling out exactly what it is. It’s this loser mentality that makes it’s unbearable for people to be around them in real life

If you had a counterargument you wouldn't need to instead try to write what he's saying off as "hating women." Accusing people of bigotry, sexism, etc. without sufficient reasoning is such a tired and lazy way of thinking.

Someone not wanting to play as a woman in a video game where you're essentially a gangster/criminal isn't even remotely an indication that you hate them. It's a video game. People are allowed to have preferences.

He has a point. Immersion is hugely important in video games. There are games where playing as a female protagonist is fine and makes sense. In NieR Automata, 2B is an Android (gynoid) so her power fits/makes logical sense. Bayonetta is fantasy, so it works there too. Same with the women in games like Final Fantasy. Lara Croft uses mostly guns and her fighting style is feminine and focuses on leveraging her agility/flexibility.

But GTA is more grounded in real life. So when you see a 135lb Latina beating up a bunch of dudes, it's just silly and 100%, fucking obviously, the product of this modern brand of "inclusion" where game developers want to blur the lines between men and women for ideological reasons. If a person who looks like Lucia walked up to 3 dudes and started a fist fight: they'd fucking destroy her, lol.

You can say it’s always been more about realism than fantasy all you want. Yes it has its realistic aspects but how can you say, you as a person controlling Trevor on GTA 5 and killing everyone in the military base is realistic? The scene you’re talking about with the 3 dudes looks like gameplay, not a cut scene. Rockstar have always done well with the cutscenes and story to give it that realistic vibe that’s entertaining. But your main reasoning for hating the game is someone playing as Lucia beating up npcs? You’re still trying to tell me it’s not simply because she’s a women?

Sharing one cool Rockstar game detail every day until GTA 6 releases: 69 days left.

GTA 4 had that dark, depressing tone because Dan Houser, the main writer of the franchise was a new immigrant in New York struggling heavily with life, dealing with loneliness and mainly uncertainty on Rockstar’s future because of the Hot Coffee scandal.

Hot Coffee was a mod for San Andreas that activated a cut sex mini-game which caused a massive uproar and for political figures to go after GTA and they sought to ban it, Rockstar tens of millions of dollars due to lawsuits, settlements and the game being pulled off store shelves until the content was entirely removed in an updated release of San Andreas. Causing major headaches and actual depression for many in Rockstar, leading to a much darker, cynical story in GTA 4.
