@kimmchuc And I don’t think the question is “Is the system corrupt or not?” We should be asking how can the overuse of power be kept in check? That’s the real problem, that police brutality goes unchecked and people get shot w rubber bullets and gassed for peacefully protesting

@kimmchuc I get the frustration. We all are disgusted by the videos that are populating our feeds. But cops are JUST humans. Some cops are horrible and shouldn’t have a badge and gun and some cops are incredibly people. They also have one of the craziest jobs in the world!

@kimmchuc Totally agree there needs to be more accountability for all law enforcement. Is the system corrupt? Probably. Although to say “If your a cop your contributing to racism” is like saying “if you work in a restaurants you cause type 2 diabetes” and I don’t think that’s true

@kimmchuc A job where a routine traffic stop could mean they don’t go home to their wife/husband and kids. Not defending any horrible actions but, we’re all humans we all fuck up. And an occupation doesn’t necessarily make you a son of satin.
