Nick Pedone reveals what he believes is the main root of the Browns' long-term struggles, arguing the franchise was set up to fail after its rushed return to the NFL following the move to Baltimore.
"I honestly believe that the Browns are still paying for that move to Baltimore. I genuinely believe that the NFL realized what a big mistake that was, and they rushed the Browns to get their organization back in 1999 as an expansion franchise instead of 2000. They were trying to prepare for an NFL draft, and they had no general manager. They had no head coach, and they were so far behind the eight ball in terms of their offseason process when they found out that they were getting the organization back. They were set up to fail from the jump. I think we're still paying for the sins of Art Modell to this day."

@BrownsNationcom Completely Agree…and still paying for Bottle Gate! NFL penalized Browns for sweet start they gave to Carolina and Jacksonville and drastically changed the rules!😡
@joethomas73@realDonaldTrump@SecretarRollins Trump is a billionaire from NYC who was best friends with Epstein and insists on having a gold toilet. It's cute that you think he gives two sh*ts about farmers. His two signature initiatives -- tariffs and the Iran war -- have screwed farmers.
@joethomas73@FredRayDennis toss off joe we all witnessed your stomach turning nob gobbling. how many generations of “farmers” do you personaly rep? one?
@joethomas73 I’ve been a Browns fan since Bill Nelson, Leroy Kelly, etal. You fk’ing sellout, ksitting next to the MF’er who has destroyed farmers. What were looking for from the parasite another 30 billion bail out for farmers line you? You who has generational money from your FB career. FU
