What Government would penalise their own food makers and put them at a disadvantage to foreign farmers and make their jobs nigh on impossible , which would finish many farms , our food security and harm our economy and which would result in lesser foreign produce dominating in the U.K. ... but relying also on the ability of such food being able to be shipped here. Plus the shipping would cancel out any environmental punitive measures forced on British farmers.

It makes NO SENSE‼️‼️

Unless we have people in positions of power who want to destroy the U.K.

When I married in 1981 we both worked & most of our salary went on paying the mortgage as the interest rate was 15% at the time.

Everything we owned was 2nd hand & we never went out for meals as we couldn’t afford to.

We rented our TV

Went to the launderette every weekend as had no washing machine.

Only had new clothes at Xmas & birthdays as presents.

We went without until we could save enough to pay for something.

It’s always been hard whether you are young or old.

So those out there that think we had it easy we didn’t.

Our governments are to blame, not the old.

Credit to SNP MSP David Torrance for standing up for his local constituents against the proposed mega 600MW AI data centre by Auchertool. This data centre is to be built in scenic countryside and use an estimated 20% of Scotland’s total energy. No one voted for this.

These politicians have no right to dictate what we eat. Every human should have the freedom to choose their own diet.
Many of us thrive on the simple, nourishing foods our ancestors ate, quality meat, animal fats, vegetables, fruit, nuts and seeds. We need proper protein and healthy fats.
This anti-human ideology must be rejected. When I get my own farm, I’ll be producing exceptional meat, fruit and vegetables while actually improving the land it comes from.
They are completely off the mark.
