@TimHoustonNS Tim, what should teachers who are at elevated risk do? Especially those who teach younger grades who don’t follow guidelines because of their age? Or those family members with elevated risk factors, infant siblings, etc? It’s not the kids at risk, it’s the at-risk ppl they expose

@tiffhubbs @mardafitness @NSTeachersUnion At least the high school students can choose to follow the guidelines (or not). Elementary, especially P-1 are too young to do that. Half of them eat their masks and throw them around. Their parents send them sick, routinely - because it’s convenient

@mardafitness @NSTeachersUnion In fairness I hadn’t read their letter when I responded (just did). I was basing my comment on my own biggest concerns. Ex: I know that in the grade P-1 classes I’m familiar with, no amount of changes will make those kids safe from a virus that is as transmissible as measles
