@zellieimani White men have had more barriers than privilege for 40 years. Black people who had a preference during the affirmative action era should acknowledge that is a true privilege. I suspect people like yourself want this privilege to continue forever. No one likes to give up stuff.

@JaredRyanSears Making government more powerful and more involved in our lives never works out well. We have to generate more wealth to pay for the programs we have. If we can make government more effective with the $7 trillion they already spend there would be more support for your wants.

@krystalball I will let u trust the government to take care of people’s health. If people do not care about their health, government can only treat them when they sick. To have a healthier/slimmer USA individuals need to step up to the challenge.

@Markzandi I think u would find a correlation with increased imports of higher value manufacture good. Importing lower priced goods did reduce the cost of the items but at a loss of higher paying jobs. The government, claiming they were stopping deflation, upped deficit spending.

@middle_class_us Corporations added healt care and pensions in reponce to government wage control and high marginal tax rates. The American auto makers suffered when car were imported for countries where manufactory did not cover these costs.

@ijbailey His claim was he ran 600 miles of marathons to raise a million pound or dollars. Since he only raised less than 300 dollars the 600 miles was questioned.

@fwrenzo1 U feel trickle down does not work but feel the government is there to help people. The government spends $7 trillion a year but only collects $5 trillion. Obama, Trump and Biden spent way more money than collected. Has the condition of the middle class improved since 2008?
