I tried to find people to interview out on the streets today.
A lot of people would be very uncomfortable doing that. But I think I have became comfortable with rejection.
I learned it from doing door to door sales, and whenever I am scared to approach someone or ask something, I think to myself:
"I will NEVER see this person again. Who CARES what they say or think!"
What was a moment when you almost didn't do something because of that fear? Where are you now because of that decision?
Today is National Cancer Awareness Day! I went out in my city and asked them why they thought cancer was still not solved.
And surprisingly, a lot of people said that they thought it was funding! They said we needed to put more money towards it.
I am really looking forward to dropping my first episode of Problems Worth Solving, which is on cancer.
What do YOU think is the reason we haven't found a cure yet?

This is a clip of my interview with Dr. Brian Druker. He is the president of the Knight Cancer Institute, and created Gleevec.
Gleevec was a drug that revolutionized the cancer field. Normally, when you had Chronic myeloid leukemia, you die within 5 years.
However, with Gleevec, patients can expect basically a full lifespan, all by taking ONE pill a day.
Dr. Druker shared about how he knew someone who could have started google, but he sadly died of this cancer.
It really makes me wonder, what other innovators would we have around today if we could cure cancer?
Follow me for more! I am launching a documentary/episode on why cancer hasn't been solved yet, and I am including Dr. Druker, and many other prominent researchers and doctors.
I would love for you to follow my journey.
