@girdley Ownership and leadership alike can never have the mindset that “working here is a reward” or that their standard paycheck should be enough to replace incentives. Incentives are crucial! And you don’t have to give away the house 🤝
@girdley Have strong visionaries planted throughout the company. Leadership has to understand and believe in the vision so they can share the same passion as ownership (not just for show) drive it consistently with authenticity, and it should take root with enough memorializing…
@HarvardBiz I believe this is due to the lack of accuracy in promotions. When companies deal with hiring/staffing shortages, they promote the wrong people out of desperation. They "hope" they will be in a better spot in the future, but they never are until they better position themselves.
