Good morning!
ARMY vs NAVY kicks off later.
This legendary CBS promo video — it’s the best sports introduction ever:
“It’s the only game where everyone playing in it, is willing to die for everyone who’s watching.”

Times change. This choice – this harder choice – does not.
Those who make it do so not because it was easy. Not because they wanted praise. But because that’s who they are.
Today, the 126th Army-Navy Game honors all who have made that choice.
RIGHT NOW in 1944, 1,600 German heavy guns open fire on American positions in Belgium's Ardennes. The massive artillery barrage marks the start of what will become known as the #BattleOfTheBulge.
RIGHT NOW in 1941, it's a little over an hour before the first bombs drop on Pearl Harbor and the destroyer USS Ward attacks a Japanese midget submarine just outside the entrance to port. The crew has no idea that they have just fired the opening shots of the Pacific War.
RIGHT NOW in 1941, the first Japanese warplanes appear in the skies over Pearl Harbor. The lead bomber transmits a pre-arranged signal to begin the attack: "Tora, Tora, Tora!"
No alarm has been raised; the raiders have achieved complete surprise.
RIGHT NOW in 1941, an uncoded alert goes out from Hawaii to all U.S. forces across the Pacific. It reads: "AIR RAID ON PEARL HARBOR. THIS IS NOT DRILL"
RIGHT NOW in 1941, an armour-piercing bomb dropped from a Japanese warplane strikes the battleship USS Arizona at Pearl Harbor. It penetrates the vessel's deck and hits the ship’s forward magazine, causing a massive explosion. The blast kills 1,177 and destroys the vessel
RIGHT NOW in 1941, 324 Japanese planes return to their carriers after striking Pearl Harbor. A total of 29 aircraft have been lost in the raid. Admiral Nagumo calls off a third wave and orders his fleet to speed for home.
