A few issues: LGBTQ+ is a massive umbrella term & I would like to see studies take into account the very different experiences for each identity; the intersection of race, gender, Disability, etc are always from an extremely small population, buried in the supplementary info.....

i told my senior dog that she has to live long enough to finish this PhD w/ me. she’s suddenly being very old and sickly, and i think she is passive aggressively telling me to stop procrastinating on writing.

Beware defensive tears: tears that allow people to ignore the pain they’ve caused, that rally support, that make the focus *their guilt* rather than the injuries for which they are responsible. It’s a defensive move. Don’t accept it. Real remorse cares about others’ pain.
