We started attending @UGAVolleyball matches at least 9 years ago, back when many games were held at Ramsey rather than Stegeman. We've known a few players over the years and are excited to watch them in the NCAA Tournament tonight. ESPN+ 6pm

If you learn someone shares your faith but not your politics, and you immediately distrust their faith, then your politics might be displacing your religion. - David French
The late Billy Graham 41 years ago, prophetically warned us:
"It would disturb me if there was a wedding between the religious fundamentals and the political right. The hard right has no interest in religion except to manipulate it."
Billy Graham, Parade Magazine, 1981.
Political idolatry is so embedded that many followers of Christ could not imagine living their faith outside of their particular political affiliation. The Christian faith has existed long before modern day political categories. And it will exist long after them.
When you come to the Bible, you need to shake your mind free from human political or ideological categories--liberal, socialist, conservative, populist. The Bible does not fit fully in any of them, and you should not be trying to read the Bible through those kinds of glasses.
Congratulations to Sage Naves of @UGAVolleyball for being accepted into the Masters in Public Administration program at UGA! Sage recently graduated with a degree in International Affairs from @UGA_SPIA and got married yesterday! Congratulations, Sage, on all your life endeavors!
I don’t want to shatter anyone’s illusions about this website, but I’m starting to think that folks on here routinely comment on pieces they haven’t read.
Don't expect those on the political Left or political Right who don't walk in our faith, but prostitute our faith for political power, to accurately represent our faith.
