Yes I agree its very important to do thorough checks but I would imagine barring no negative records coming in and none added while being here for over 2 years working under a TPS or special visa should help prove their track record. I mean I can get my FBI background check for buying a firearm in 15 minutes. A little different but same principle.
@FitFounder I like this. Go through the motions not the emotions. If you took off because you didn’t “feel” like it then you’ll never get to where you want to be.
@elonmusk@DOGE Why is the immigration process so slow especially for a proven individual of 2+ yrs on TPS? I have an educated DVM friend that’s here from the Ukraine conflict that busts her ass 70+ hrs/week, passionate about her job, wants to get a DVM license in the US, pays taxes, contributes to society, wants to be here but pays enormous renewal fees to stay here while applying every year for the magical green card lottery with a 1 in a million chance?
Not quite Type 2… but knowing this could be a possible outcome I’ve started to workout again and been more discipline than ever. If I’m getting dumped its surely not going to be because I’m lazy and out of shape. Reducing the possible negative outcomes and becoming the best version of myself.
@charliekirk11 Exactly. The liberal echo chamber on sites like Reddit was so loud that they eventually pushed out anyone outside their views and didn’t even allow discussion to convince the other party. You were banned or ostracized until all that was left was them patting each others back.
