It’s a fascinating thing to me. Foreign too. Remove all the noise. Let’s just assume that we are all part of a business and owned stock in it. Meaning, the more the company grew, the more money we all made. Money for our families. For our kids. For our future grand kids and great grand kids. The company grows, we grow. And, while all these players, people who report, announce, post, etc, may not technically “have stock” in this basketball “company”, the salary correlation, money they could make, it’s the same principle. Why would you try to highlight the negatives to crash “our” stock. Promote the good. Fix the bad behind closed doors and get better. Every company has challenges. We all have our bad days. Why would we want people to define us only by these? Why would others on our team want to? Especially if we all benefit or, don’t, together. Imagine Amazon workers shouting all their warts from the rooftop or trying to introduce bugs in programs so AWS crashes and the company fails. None of this makes much sense. But, what do I know.
Thrilled to share that I just spoke at ITEN WIRED | TechNet CyberCoast 2025! Big thanks to the organizers and everyone who joined the session.🌟 Your presence made it special!

@BillboardChris@BillAckman Would be great if $ went to establish a real competitor to current academia. Develop skills, not useless paper degrees. What happened to trade schools? Imagine high tech versions today. Pay proven business leaders top $ to teach-Harvard '87 & saddened by how my kids were taught.
@BillAckman@Harvard To take on HE, use sports-best meritocracy we have-as a guide. Look at farm system too. Attract top talent? Top coaching? Experience/practice over theory. Why do industry experts-like you-not teach? $ of course. Fans-pay millions to athletes but don't fund our kids? Stupid.
@elonmusk Best consumer value is real time info before any place else. Challenge is, what’s true? Stack rank by # of users that said the same thing. If we got 1000s of customer care complaints on the same thing, it was an issue. Didn’t matter what my engineers told me. Had to be true.
@elonmusk 1. Be as transparent as you can about how twitter works. Market this. 2. Monetize it. In the end, results will be what matters. Can’t argue with the scoreboard. 22 years at Match, ran the technology for 7, the international biz for a while, and just retired.
