Software engineering is not dead, it has simply evolved. Success today means evolving your mindset from task based …I write code for a living…to outcome based…I create solutions for a living…
Lesson learned…when working with designers never let them use crap tools like Framer unless you want to be forever beholden to brittle and outsourced workflows. Note to designers: Your job is to deliver clean and portable HTML/CSS/JS…only
Splitting more work between Claude and Codex…I am about ready to conclude….that at this moment…for the work I do…and how I like code to be written…that Codex is like working with an engineer with more taste, thoroughness and insight.
Was that enough caveats for you all?
Perhaps only partially POS…when Anthropic sh*ts the bed and you fall back to less capable model….beware…those lessor models can not effectively run OpenClaw…they completely trashed the config in ways that took hours to unwind once I got things back on Opus 4.6
