#InFocus 🌍 A mapping of labour migration pathways across the 27 European member states is now available, under the research project “Re-thinking approaches to labour migration. Potential and gaps in EU Member States’ Migration Infrastructures”.

📌The research is packaged into 27 concise summaries and corresponding infographics.
📌An online tool is available to visualise pathways by country or cluster information for multiple countries based on common criteria such as language, labour market quotas, and income.

#InFocus 🌍 When parents leave for work abroad, it can impact their children who often remain behind in the country with either only one parent or in the care of relatives. Out of the increasing prevalence of transnational families, the CASTLE Project analysed the role of all involved actors in Romania, Moldova and Ukraine, with a focus on migrant families and the #children themselves.

📌 The CASTLE Project was funded by the EU through @MPF_ICMPD - It was rolled out between June 2021 and December 2023 by the Babeș-Bolyai University of Romania, Terre des hommes – Aide à l’enfance dans les monde, Terre des Hommes-Moldova, Terre des Hommes-Ukraine, the Ukrainian Institute for Social Research Oleksandr Yaremenko, and the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova.
