@AutoInfatuation@bleusudfan My brother has one of those, proper waftmatic barge of a thing with a ridiculous turn of speed when required. Currently for sale

@Lease4wheels Maybe the discount given at time of original purchase offset it, I’d guess in 2020 there wasn’t much appetite for blowing loads on a new car with lockdowns etc. Similar to now here in Oz, I’m told dealers are knocking ~50% off new i5’s to move them, no one’s buying
@sniffpetrol I owned one of those new, V393WNV. Thames Valley Police took umbrage at me straight lining the Milton Keynes roundabouts at 5am one Monday morning in that car…
@AutoPap Company here in Melbourne does something similar, only retaining the original chassis. Looks entirely stock if you want it to, they’re superb. Les Richmond Automotive.
For me the wheels on that one look all wrong.
@AutoInfatuation The answer of course is Boxster, always is at this price point. After that, BMW and the six pot is hard to beat, but 4k will also get the bangle butt 650i pre March 2006 so cheap tax. That’s what I ended up with for my 1 month a year back in the UK, currently sat in storage.
