The Oyo State Executive Council (ExCo) met on Tuesday, 21 April 2026, and approved the following:

The payment of an additional sum of N5,813,000,000.00 as compensation to over 900 property owners whose lands were affected by the construction of the 110 km Rashidi Ladoja Circular Road.

​The sum of N3,981,431,000.00 for the reconstruction and rehabilitation of Okaka Junction–Otu–Igbojaiye-KAP Film Village Road project (including bridge construction over the Otu and Ofiki rivers). This is in addition to the existing project cost of N26,482,664,000.00.

The sum of N126,912,000.00 for the completion of the Oyo State Christian Wing multipurpose hall, a project originally initiated over 25 years ago.

​The sum of N710,382,000.00 to cover transportation subsidies for the period between March and August 2026 under the Sustainable Actions for Economic Recovery (SAfER) programme.

​Approval was also given for the hosting of the 2026 edition of the International Tourism Summit Oyo State (#ITSOyoState2026) to consolidate the successes of previous editions and expand the State's global cultural and tourism potential.
