@Richardchelico @Erisilwen @zeroexp21@Shay35739309@RealCandaceO I don't know if they are being over used. The goal of our country has been to protect people's freedom. Land of the free home of the brave. But we also have heard freedom isn't free and it comes at a cost. The ultimate trick is finding that balance between freedom and the cost.
@Erisilwen @zeroexp21 @Richardchelico @Shay35739309@RealCandaceO I don't think it's good business practice to turn away any business and would argue that it shouldn't be done. This is a very fragile argument to have. Freedoms of private business vs freedom of beliefs. Both should have those freedoms. Tough one!!
@Erisilwen @zeroexp21 @Richardchelico @Shay35739309@RealCandaceO My guess and I could be wrong is that it may be a requirement in order to travel or attend a function or event.
@Cascademaster @RKJ65 @stefen_tyler@MalaMoragain@RealCandaceO I agree that legally they have that right. but just because they legally have the right to do something does not make it ethically right. But that solely my opinion. Before desegregation private business denied service to blacks legally. Hope that does not sound to communist.
@KingHerpes @RKJ65 @stefen_tyler@MalaMoragain@RealCandaceO You are right and again the facility does have the right to deny testing. I do not understand how the staff at the facility was unpaid and underpaid. There is so much context missing from this story. But I hope any one needing a test has it accessible regardless of there beliefs.
@KingHerpes @RKJ65 @stefen_tyler@MalaMoragain@RealCandaceO Wouldn't getting tested fall in to the realm of protective measures? I know what you are saying goes way deeper and I am not dismissing that at all.
@KingHerpes @RKJ65 @stefen_tyler@MalaMoragain@RealCandaceO Because it's the human and right thing to do if it is a serious as we believe it to be. By not providing the service we are saying it must not be that serious.
@GenSmit @Richardchelico @Shay35739309@RealCandaceO Who pays for Covid tests is it the insurance companies or federal government? Honestly asking because I don't know.
@SoopremeKommand @RealCandaceO This is probably the most honest answer. Federal laws prohibit discrimination based on a person's national origin, race, color, religion, disability, sex, and familial status. It does not say politics but before desegregation it didn't say race either.
@MissTrinia01 @RealCandaceO People should have a right to choose if they decide to get vaccinated with out fair of being judged or mistreated. The fact that she is trying to comply with the requirements to get tested should show that she is not trying to be a part of the problem.
