especially not worth it in California. zip code isn't going to affect your rate much per prop 103

If someone isn’t ready to do a full rewiring they can put a GFI in all the sockets. That way they won’t get electrocuted. Still have fire risk though.

@NotJustTheNorm @markasaurus @JulieChangRE @rohindhar Yeah. Check out Lutron caseta. You install a receiver up at the fixture in the ceiling / attic. You install the remote, which looks like a regular switch, on the wall. You can even have a dimmer if you want. You just disconnect the knob and tube in the wall and leave it there.
