Over the past few days, a lot of people criticized me for taking out a short on $TSLA. So far, it has been the wrong decision to cover, and today it hurts even more after buying at the print.

The truth is, nobody gets every trade right. I've been right on well over 90% of my trades, but that doesn't mean I'm immune to making a bad one. Today is a reminder of that.

Losing money is already frustrating enough. Having strangers pile on, call you dumb, and celebrate your losses doesn't make anyone a better investor. It just shows a lack of empathy.

It's my money. I made the decision, and I'll own it. I'll make it back. But before attacking someone who's already having a rough day, remember there's a real person on the other side of the screen.

Be human. Show a little compassion.

@squawksquare I do believe your + trades outperform the - ones, and it does help traders to have a kind of a reference in case they also have some thoughts. It's kind of a reinforcement, so ignore the dumb comments. Smart guys would not call you out on one of the very few negative trades.
