An EU ADR body ruled in my favor and said YouTube should restore monetization on my channel.

It found there was not enough evidence to justify demonetization for “inauthentic content.”

I’m asking @TeamYouTube to comply and restore monetization.

I feel completely powerless.

My YouTube channel was demonetized for “Inauthentic Content” 49 days ago, on March 18. This channel was my main source of income.

My content is manually researched, planned, scripted, edited, and produced. It is not mass-produced, not AI-generated, and not low-effort template spam. I even submitted an appeal clearly showing my full creation process, my face on camera, the manual work behind the channel, and why specific videos were uploaded at specific times based on trends, artists, films, or shows relevant to my audience. It was still rejected.

What is most frustrating is that I still have not received a clear, specific explanation of what exactly is supposedly wrong with my channel. I have only received generic replies. How is any creator supposed to fix a problem if YouTube refuses to explain what exactly needs to be changed?

Because of this, I also started an EU out-of-court dispute process on March 31. On April 9, I was told that the discussion between the parties had ended and that all the necessary information had been collected for a final non-binding decision. Since then, I am still waiting.

So right now I am stuck in the middle: YouTube has taken away my income, rejected my appeal, affected another related channel too, and still has not given me a concrete explanation of what exactly my channel violates.

I am asking for a real human review of my channel and a clear, specific explanation.

Please do not let creators lose years of work to automated-looking decisions with no real guidance.

I want to tell you my full story because people need to hear it.

I run a senior health channel on YouTube. Every single video starts with me personally reading through clinical studies and scientific literature. I write every script completely from scratch. I manually edit over 150 separate scenes per video. I reply to my senior community every single day answering their health questions.

This is not automated content. This is not mass produced. This is a biochemist showing up, doing the research, doing the work, every single time.

YouTube demonetized my channel and took away my entire livelihood overnight with no warning and no real explanation.

I submitted two appeals. My second included an unlisted video of me walking through my research papers, my sources, my script drafts, and my full edit timelines. It was never watched. My appeal was rejected in hours. The response I received was a copy paste message that thousands of other creators got word for word.

I have done everything right. I have followed every process. I keep hitting the same automated wall.

All I am asking for is one real human at YouTube to actually look at my channel.

YouTube demonetized my channel for "Inauthentic Content" on April 13th.

I've spent 8+ days tagging TeamYouTube with no response, so I'm putting everything on the record.

I run Fluffcomedy a channel I built from scratch in a niche that didn't exist before me. Every video is a manual creative process: I source realistic footage, generate AI visuals, and record my own voiceover.

I also have a dedicated editor who puts 4+ hours into every single video. This isn't just my livelihood his entire salary depends on this channel. This is original content. This is real people's work.

After the demonetization, their automated legal notice changed the reason to "Copyright Infringement." When I challenged that, their own system confirmed I have zero copyright strikes on my account.

Three different answers. Zero consistency. And they're sitting on €3,963.86 of my earned revenue while they figure out which reason they want to go with.

I did everything right. I filed the appeal. I made a detailed unlisted video walking through my entire creation process footage sources, AI generation workflow, voiceover, all of it. I submitted it as evidence.

YouTube rejected my appeal and told me a "human" reviewed it.
That video has 0 views. Nobody opened it. I have the analytics screenshot to prove it.

After a week of public pressure on here, I finally got an email from YouTube Partner Support admitting my channel is eligible for another appeal and escalating it to "internal specialists." Which tells you everything if the first human review was real, why does it suddenly need to be escalated now?

I shouldn't have to go viral on Twitter to get someone to actually look at my case. That's not a support system. That's a wall designed to make creators give up.

Under the EU's Digital Services Act, platforms are required to provide clear, consistent reasoning for enforcement actions and a functioning internal complaint process. YouTube has done neither. I've formally notified them (Ref: 6-7485000040347) and I am now filing a complaint with the EETT, Greece's regulatory authority.

All I'm asking for is what every creator deserves, one real person to look at the actual evidence.

Inauthentic content is the worst change YouTube has made in a while.

1) It's killing channels that are actually making amazing content (even with zero AI)
2) It's pushing everyone away from wanting to make YouTube videos, so they are migrating to other platform programs
3) The rule & enforcement is so vague that nobody knows how to actually make monetizable content

It really feels like they didn't mean to turn the sensitivity up this high and don't know what this change has caused. Hope there is some clarity on it soon.

There should be a proper system where creators get a warning before monetization is removed so we can understand what mistake was made instead of suddenly losing monetization with no clear explanation, and at least tell us which specific videos have issues instead of saying the entire channel is the problem because I have over 293 videos and it’s not realistic to expect me to figure out which ones to remove or fix without any clear guidance, and on top of that ads can still run on our videos while we’re demonetized so the platform continues to earn from that content while we’re left without answers, which makes the situation even more frustrating for creators

The problem is that regular creators don’t get the same attention: auto-rejected appeals, copy-paste support replies, and no human review
