This... really made me think. How many states can be mathematically shown to fit this description? Which states are they, and what party currently holds power? I bet someone has done this analysis...
@SkotBotCambo Oh no! I hope you all feel better. I know of one other person who recently had a false negative PCR, but he also had a true positive on another PCR, so not exactly the same.
Very happy to announce that our full paper got accepted in #SIGIR2022. Thank you @ohoeber for your support and guidance. Thanks to @milara as well for the hard work.
@DataDrivenMD Isn't this jump just due to when most people in SF came due for a booster? I wish they'd recorded months since last vaccine dose of any kind; I feel like that would be more telling.
@ndiakopoulos Two quick words of advice: 1. There are a LOT of scammers in the rental market. 2. Furnished 1-year rentals (not called sublets) are super common in Amsterdam. https://t.co/BulIzzFb7w is the most trustworthy site, followed by https://t.co/szNwAeI1hu.
If this work on cross-session cross-device search is of interest to you, I am looking to fill a postdoc position in my research group. If you are close to or have recently completed a Ph.D. in IR, IIR, or HCI and are looking for a postdoc position, DM me so that we can talk.
I’ve been doing neuroscience for more than a decade and there’s literally no way to know where my family will be living in 5 years or if I’ll even have a job in the field. I love so many things about science but I honestly don’t think this level of precarity is justifiable.
@ibogost I legit read books during those in between moments. I read while walking. I even read while sprinting. I put the book under the desk and read during class. If I forgot to bring a book to the bathroom, I read the shampoo bottles.
Hey @masknerd , any chance you'll be doing more testing of reusable, non-cloth masks like the Gill Mask? On paper it looks really good, but "face validity" isn't real data... Thanks for all the work you've done!
@Gaia26596497 @BillHill53@JuddLegum Can't say that they are because, obviously, that is not at all normal. I keep hoping that the prosecution will submit an appeal and get a different judge...
@BillHill53@JuddLegum I may suffer from a bit of a bubble. My in-laws, brothers-in-law, and some friends live in Kenosha, all progressives. I think they would all have negative things to say about Rittenhouse's behavior and the trial's outcome. But I don't know if they are representative of Kenosha.
@BillHill53@JuddLegum Keep in mind Rittenhouse was NOT from Kenosha. Rittenhouse brought the violence to Kenosha, and what happened next says more about where Rittenhouse came from than it does about Kenosha.
@ACMDL As a side note, your documentation/instructions say that things like curly braces are reserved, but not what they are reserved for. It would be great if your instructions explained what they are used for so that we can use them too!
@ACMDL Is there a way to do proximity searches through your interface? For example, if we want to find instances where "foo" is within 0-4 words of "bar"? The syntax that works in other academic DBs doesn't seem to be working in yours.
