#MNTwins have advanced for the first time in 7,669 days. Their 2-0 win over Toronto sends them to Houston for the ALDS, which starts Saturday.

Twins pitchers allowed one earned run over 18 innings in the 2-0 series victory. Bullpen followed Sonny Gray's 5 scoreless w/ 4 more.

@SophieZnS @sunflowerpj @ThanksCancer @Jessica_E_Smith Just seeing this now! Sorry! I had ER/PR+ HER2-. This is my second time with breast cancer in 2 years. I did 16 rounds of chemo this time and then did 37 radiation treatments with the last few being a boost.

@lisashaheen1 @ThanksCancer @thisdyinglife I just recently took a leave after 5 months of chemo and 2 months of radiation. I realized I was struggling and finally after a few people nudged me took time off. It is really important to take care of yourself.

What cancer patients do NOT need to hear:

👉 Suggestions on cancer cures (that’s what donctors are for)
👉 God will heal you (less talk more action from divine sources)
👉 You are beautiful anyway (wtf)

@Jessica_E_Smith @ThanksCancer I didn’t want to worry about it coming back so I not only opted for a mastectomy, but a bilateral mastectomy. Obviously doing the other side was prophylactic. Unfortunately mine came back, but I still didn’t have to wonder if it was bc I made the wrong decision. I’d do it again.

@ThanksCancer I had ice on my hands during chemo so my nails didn’t get as bad this time, but I do gel nails at home myself. I add a rubber base which helps strengthen them while allowing them to still be flexible. It allows them to grow without breaking or tearing etc.
