@RecoveryNC @RevDrBarber My original point was that research into implicit bias testing shows only slight correlation to behavior but it’s cited as motivation for doctors to “believe white patients claims of pain” which is misleading and inaccurate

@RevDrBarber @RecoveryNC Researchers from U of Virginia, U of Wisconsin, and Harvard (which includes one of the founders of the IAT) concluded that implicit bias has very little effect on a person’s behavior. You should be careful making blanket accusations against doctors based upon their implicit bias
