The unsung hero of the NE press pack. Enjoy your retirement, @DamianSpellman.

@ShellNUFC2006 The more miles in your legs the better, but I’ve never got close to running the distance in a training run. You’ll be fine!

[Miles Starforth @milesstarforth]

@toonprostars The thing about him was that he wasn't Benitez's first, second or even third choice for that position (he didn't have the budget for those targets). But Manquillo was an affordable player who he trusted tactically. He did well for the club.

This was such an important goal.

Newcastle United were 19th in the PL, and in a seemingly impossible position, when they headed to Elland Road.

Yet they left the stadium full of belief.

Eddie Howe described the 1-0 win as a ‘turning point’ in the press room.

And it was.

[Newcastle United @NUFC]

When Jonjo Shelvey did this 💥

[Miles Starforth @milesstarforth]

@toonprostars Think he won the ball too.

[Miles Starforth @milesstarforth]

@sarahknapton Happening more and more. Why can’t they use headphones?!

[Miles Starforth @milesstarforth]

@toonprostars Yeah, it was. Teased the defender then skipped past him.

[Miles Starforth @milesstarforth]

@Sentinelsgalore Huge talent, but probably never realised his full potential. He got the club and the city, too.

@SBRFoundation Good luck to Sir Bobby’s Team and everyone taking part in the Great North Run today.

Let’s do this!

[Miles Starforth @milesstarforth]

Proud to again be running the Great North Run as part of Sir Bobby’s Team in aid of the @SBRFoundation.

The early detection and treatment of cancer is something very close to my heart, and the charity, which also funds research, is Sir Bobby's last and greatest team.

@SBRFoundation Please support Sir Bobby's Team and the work @SBRFoundation does in the North East to find more effective ways to detect and treat cancer.

The story of Lewis Hall and Newcastle United goes back to his childhood growing up in Berkshire thanks to his family’s allegiance to the club.

And, hopefully, there are many more chapters to come on Tyneside.

An outstanding talent.

[Newcastle United @NUFC]

It was always Newcastle United. 🖤🤍

[Miles Starforth @milesstarforth]

@GeordiePeteShow Remember that game well!

[Miles Starforth @milesstarforth]

Was at The Den the last time Newcastle United played Millwall in 1992/93
Classic game of two halves, and also a big away following.
What a team Kevin Keegan was building that season.
