I pay enough tax every year, yet basic services fail us.
Diwali eve: Hyd–CCU flights ₹13–15K (3x normal). So I booked a ₹7,500 premium tatkal train. No 12513.
3 hrs delay. No cleaning. No maintenance.
We pay. We suffer. We stay silent.

More than 400 Hindus from Dhulian, Murshidabad driven by fear of religiously driven bigots were forced to flee across the river & take shelter at Par Lalpur High School, Deonapur-Sovapur GP, Baisnabnagar, Malda.

Religious persecution in Bengal is real.

Appeasement politics of TMC has emboldened radical elements. Hindus are being hunted, our people are running for their lives in their own land! Shame on the State Govt for allowing this breakdown of law & order.

I urge the Central Paramilitary Forces deployed in the District, the State Police and the district administration to ensure the safe return of these displaced Hindus & protect their lives from this jihadist terror.

তৃণমূলের নেতা থেকে কর্মী কাটমানি খাওয়ায় সিদ্ধহস্ত। বিজেপির পক্ষ থেকে আমরা বরাবর তথ্য দিয়ে বলে এসেছি যে সরকারি প্রকল্পে তৃণমূলের নেতা কর্মীদের কাটমানি না দ���লে কোনোও কাজ হয় না। এই ভিডিওটি আরো একবার আমাদের কথার সত্যতার প্রমান করলো।

গলসি ১ নং ব্লকের মানকর গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েত প্রধান ডালিয়া লাহা সরকারি জলপ্রকল্পের বৈদ্যুতিক ভূ-গর্ভস্থ পাম্প বসাতে ১০ শতাংশ কাটমানির দাবী করেন। ঠিকাদারটি তৎক্ষণাৎ ২ শতাংশ হিসাবে ৫০০০ টাকা কাটমানি দিলে রাজি হলেও তা নিতে অস্বীকার করেন পঞ্চায়েত প্রধান ডালিয়া লাহা। তিনি বলেন মূল কাজের টাকার অংকের হিসেবে (দেড় লক্ষ টাকা) ১০ শতংশ হারে তার টাকা লাগবে, অত ���ম টাকায় হবে না, অন্যান্যরা তাই দেয়।

মমতা ব্যানার্জীর রাজত্বে পঞ্চায়েত থেকে শুরু করে রাজ্যের প্রতিটি দপ্তরই এখন ঘুঘুর বাসায় পরিণত হয়েছে, যেখানে কাটমানি বা ঘুষ না দিলে ঠিকাদারেরা কোনো কাজ পাবেন না। ফলে কাটমানি দিয়েই তাদের কাজ করতে হচ্ছে, আর বরাদ্দ কমে ��াওয়ায় কাজের মান ও খারাপ হচ্ছে।

@balajidbv Absolutely true. I fully understand the struggles of being a citizen of West Bengal these days. A corrupt administration and failing municipal infrastructure have dragged Kolkata down, making it feel comparable to cities in some of the world's least developed regions.
