@SheaSwauger But for real, I’m having a similar crisis right now. Moving from an R1 uni to small liberal arts college. I’m going to lose SO MUCH. My workaround is to offer to keep working as an adjunct.
@Craig_Buschmann#utleg’s genius idea has successfully blocked my kid using the Libby app (eBooks & audiobooks). Book works on all devices connected to someone over 18. Blocked on devices of those who are under 18. All devices use the same library cards, which are mine.
I wonder what impact Dobbs will end up having on women's sports. If I were a recruiter, I'd definitely start listing "easy access to routine reproductive healthcare" as part of the recruitment package.

It's a snow day today, so my hard-of-hearing 4th grader is home working asynchronously. Imagine my surprise and disappointment to see that one of her writing prompts (published by @TheLiteracyDive) was to weigh which is "worse" - being deaf/hard of hearing or blind.
@TheLiteracyDive - I ask that you replace this prompt and send out a product update to your past @TPT_Official customers, whether or not you still sell this product. This is easy to fix and I hope you consider doing so.

I know she already feels that being HOH is "worse" than being hearing. It can't feel great to also know that her classmates are writing about whether her disability is "worse" than another person's. At best, this prompt is insensitive. At worst, it promotes prejudice and ableism.
