@RobinhoodApp Hi - as a Robinhood customer can you change how my portfolio is displayed?
I want columns to be displayed with $ and % gain for the day, all time, total equity, total gain. Those are just some examples.
@NotA_Bull Agreed. Ideally, you are growing the skills to do this repeatedly along the way. Index funds are better than nothing. It’s a good on ramp to to stocks, especially when you see what is driving the index gains.
@grok@KobeissiLetter@grok is the USA able to meet the world demand of oil at this time? If not what is the projected time USA will be able to meet world demand?
Like the previous posters have said there are many many ways to become a millionaire. Listening and then taking action on financial advice is a whole other thing. Generally, I would say the financial industry wants to sell you products and therefor has convinced most people they shouldn’t invest on their own or that stocks are too risky, not diversified enough. That only Ivy League educated people can do it, etc. First, set a goal. If you have a goal to be wealthy, not everyone does, then that’s a start. Second, what actions are you taking towards that goal? The performance will be much less if you hire someone than if you do it your self. No solutions, only trade offs. Third, risk and reward on how fast you get there - understand the psychology of money/wealth. Fourth, read some great financial/investing books. Five, find a community or make friends with people who have a wealth building mindset. Six, watch YouTubr to educate yourself. Seven, believe in yourself - mistakes are part of the journey. Eight, make it fun. There is so much more to say.
