We just drove from Norwich to Ipswich and it was open, but nearly didn't make it because Google Maps diverted us off the A140 at Thornham Magna and there we found roads impassable with many vehicles stranded. Google is still advising that route...

Credit where it's due - we alerted @virginmedia to a problem with our broadband (our builder's digger cut the cable, though denied doing so). Within a day, Virgin came and repaired it. I'd heard of dreadful customer service so we were pleasantly surprised.
