@SymoneDSanders I totally agree with your on air analysis @SymoneDSanders , this is not the 90s we need more contrast and more calling out the lies. We have to galvanize those who would vote for us if they are given a reason, all of the agreeing was too much.
Let’s be real, the reason y’all hate hormonal birth control, prep, DoxyPep, abortion, the HPV vaccine, etc. is you hate seeing people have “sex without consequences.” For centuries, you were able to fear-monger certain death as a consequence for casual sex and you’re flailing.
Introverts hate being told what to do. They're extremely sensible, logical, and rational. They do loads of thinking before they act. Done with consequences of consequences. When you tell them what to do, they've already thought, reflected and rejected it. Like twice already.
If we're talking history jobs, what you actually need to know is this:
- In 2008, hiring for history profs dropped by nearly half and never recovered.

Yes we should learn to disagree on issues and pull value from hearing each other.
What we cannot take as an argument and still coexist is my fundamental right to live.

How does one gain respect for their stance on a highly debated topic?
It involves strategic efforts by individuals to pave the way for their perspective to be seen as the correct side in history, not just an overnight occurrence.
Jerry Seinfeld is not making a series for network TV today. I have interviewed Quinta Brunson from Abbott Elementary; she is not experiencing that. I think Jerry is regurgitating excuses from people who had projects die, for who knows what reason. Network TV isn't spending money on scripted shows. The TV audience isn't interested in old school sitcoms. There's lots of other possible reasons for why there aren't as many sitcoms on network TV and no evidence that wokeness has killed anything.

@LegionHoops@ESPNNBA NBA players pick up a certain number of (not terribly insightful or accurate) platitudes throughout their careers, and those that enter broadcasting then recite them on autopilot.
Kelly Clarkson gets emotional while talking to Hillary Clinton about the Arizona Supreme Court upholding a 1864 abortion ban:
"I have been pregnant twice, hospitalized both times ... To make someone go through that? ... You don't realize how hard it is."
