But One program thinks they are the superior program
Other than the money
Another reason why we are seeing players transfer multiple times looks like this:
• Elite player on a winning LM/MM team
• Agents convince them to transfer up a level
• They aren’t quite good enough to go to a winning HM
• Transfer to a bad HM Team
• Horrible season - They realize their MM team that was well coached and had chemistry was rare
• BAD vibes in locker-room and with losing HM coach
• Back in the portal to go to their third school in three years
It’s often not the plan for kids to transfer so many times, but agents and handlers aren’t looking at the full picture when placing players - they are just looking for their 10%
Auburn's (last team in) resume:
Overall record: 16-15
Conf. record: 7-11
Q1 record: 4-12
Q2 record: 3-2
Q3 record: 3-1
Q4 record: 6-0
West Virginia's (9th team out) resume:
Overall record: 18-13
Conf. record: 9-9
Q1 record: 5-7
Q2 record: 3-5
Q3 record: 2-1
Q4 record: 8-0
West Virginia has a better overall record, better conference record in a better conference, more Q1 wins in less attempts, and the same number of Q3/4 losses. Please explain why West Virginia is 9 spots out while Auburn is still in the field. Oh wait...it's because they're in the big and strong SEC where "it just means more."
It is no longer defensible for certain NCAA athletes who are afforded 6 or 7 figures in NIL cash to also receive taxpayer-subsidized full scholarships & benefits.
Those resources should be allocated to high-achieving students with demonstrated financial need...
Good evening.
All I want for Christmas is for more regulations on NIL & the transfer portal.
Oh and maybe not allowing pro athletes to play College Basketball.
Merry Christmas everyone 🤝🫡
COLLEGE basketball should not have:
-G Leaguers
-Guys who played Professionally in another country after the age of 18. (Come over at 18 and be a student athlete, or don’t come at all. )
-Former NBA Draft Picks.
Sorry if that’s controversial.
Yup now we’ve got a HUGE problem.
This man got DRAFTED damn near the first round. This sets the precedent that guys who GET DRAFTED INTO THE NBA can come back & play college ball.
Step in @NCAA this cannot go on
