Ed, you’re the Foreign Secretary. Words matter. This was a terror attack. The brave Indian pilot and Israeli passengers helped avert catastrophe. Why is it so difficult to name and condemn Islamist terrorism? Britain needs clarity and leadership.
Netanyahu on Britain:
We gave the Brits the intel that there was going to be an attack, an Iranian-sponsored attack, and pretty much the next day they slapped sanctions on us.
So it’s wild. I mean, the caving in, the collapse before the Islamist-Marxist alliance is very dangerous for the future of the West.
So it turns out Israel gave the UK the intel on an imminent Iranian attack (RAF Fairford).
And what did our government of student activists do? The very next day Mad Miliband imposed sanctions on our friend Israel.
Our country is stark staring mad. Lives are at stake FGS.
@sheridanvk@AlexanderC19687 They used half (£2bn) of the loan facility (£4bn) and were required to bring in significant austerity measures to cut public spending to demonstrate fiscal discipline which in turn calmed the markets and stabilised the pound. It had been tanking in ‘76 Sterling crisis.
In 2015 Jenny Riddell-Carpenter posted on X a photo of a black Labrador lying in front of a fire with this caption; “ This is what a Sunday break looks like.”
Today she’s Nature Minister and tells a Labour event the vision of rural Britain with “ warm ale and black Labrador lying at your feet”’ is a far Right fantasy and doesn’t exist .
The Labrador does exist. The fire does exist. More’s the pity a hypocritical creep like her exists.
In 1997 the Tories bequeathed New Labour:
- 3.5% GDP growth
- 4.5% wage growth
- 4.6% manufacturing output growth
- Energy independence and falling energy prices
- A brand new nuclear power station (1995)
- New reservoirs (1992)
- Construction of Manchester airport's second runway
- Falling unemployment
- London as the world’s leading foreign-exchange centre
- A newly opened Channel Tunnel
- Debt at just 37% of GDP
- On track for a balanced budget
Andy Burnham just said that this was failure. Somehow.
Words are policy. This is the policy.
Britain’s Foreign Secretary just called Israelis “settler terrorists” and accused them of “ethnic cleansing.”
Not “disputed settlements.” Not “alleged war crimes.” Not “occupation under international law that Israel contests.”
Terrorists. Ethnic cleansing. Illegal occupation of Palestine.
Same speech, he did mention Iran — once, briefly: sanctions, “proxies of Iran,” reopen the Strait of Hormuz for the cost of living. No Hezbollah. No Houthis. No naming who actually arms the war.
Israel gets the prosecution brief. Iran gets a paragraph on oil prices.
From the man who runs our foreign policy.

Under these rules, if you leave YOUR property, that YOU OWN, empty for just six months, the state can *seize it*.
This is a horrifying attack on private property rights.
Your property belongs to you. This Government is going to steal it if they don't like how you use it.
The Green Party are absolutely determined to win the Holborn & St Pancras by-election, so they've entered their strongest player into the game. Dav...Zack Polanski is pulling out all the stops to take the crown & Hannah the plumber is like so helping #parody
