Anthony Taylor, the referee in charge of the Portugal v Spain World Cup game, officiated at The Racecourse in his first ever Football League appointment.

The match between Wrexham and Peterborough United was almost 20 years ago to the day and ended 0-0.

The lineups and programme from our famous European Cup Winners Cup quarter final tie 50 years ago today.

Anderlecht boasted some top European stars of the day, but Wrexham gave them a stern test over the two legs.

Phil Parkinson marked tonight’s FA Cup victory with his 150th win as Wrexham manager.

A fantastic landmark for Parky and only John Neal and Brian Flynn have won more games in charge of us.

We’re also into the 5th Round for only the second time in the last 45 years 👍

On Saturday, Max Cleworth became the player to make the most first team appearances in the time Phil Parkinson has been Wrexham manager.

Max has been with us every step of the way and has now played 173 times for Parky, moving one ahead of Paul Mullin.

He’s still only 23.

72 years ago today was our first ever visit to Selhurst Park.

However, it wasn’t to play Crystal Palace, but Brighton!

After two 1-1 draws, this was an FA Cup 2nd Replay, which were played at neutral grounds then.

Wrexham won 3-1 on this Monday afternoon kick off.

Cardiff City 1-2 Wrexham

33 years ago tonight - hundreds of Reds made the trip down to South Wales on a Friday night to watch a superb win over The Bluebirds.

17 year old @jon_cross10 hit both goals in what was our last ever victory at Ninian Park.

54 years ago today, our first ever game against The Latics.

Wigan were still non league then, but had a very good side and were reigning NPL champions.

An amazing attendance was swelled by 5,000 away fans, with some captured in the photo.

13 years ago tonight, we went joint top of the league.

Very loyal fans made the long Tuesday night trip after the original game had been called off very late.

@Dwrighty9 with two, @B1orm, @nickrushton14 and @ciss07 all finished very well.

However, we received a telegram on the morning from the Ramblers’ secretary.

35 years ago, a very young Wrexham side hosted HUFC.

Smith gave the visitors the lead before Beaumont and Worthington put us ahead.

19yo @donhutch4 came off the bench to equalise with his last goal for Pools - who went on to win promotion.

Carlisle Utd 0-2 Wrexham

Some promotion season footage, with a win at Brunton Park.

Dave Esdaille was making his first start for us and was elbowed and punched in the 30th min, which saw Davey sent off!
