@HairballFrenzy@EricRSammons Because you guys spend so much time telling us that's what we talk about is read of what we actually talk about. Come to church or go to the website or watch general conference if you want to know what we really care about.
@TheDude10101110@SpencerBehrend@realDrTT What if the gospel is actually, faith, repentance, baptism by immersion for the remission of sins, laying on of hands for the the gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end?
@S_W_Somerville@realDrTT I simplify it for you. Just read the 13 Articles of Faith if you want to know what we believe. It will take you 5 minutes or less.

Read from the BofM some/many days.
Learned about polygamy in Sunday School as a teen. Studied the topic extensively. Read books, manuals, and articles. Discussed with leaders.
@cnctNow Just my 2 cents, but I think if you push against Him on this, it will become a stumbling block between the two of you. You've told him once how you feel. He knows. Don't beat a dead horse. Just live your life faithfully and joyfully.
@Seeking72 The language is hard to understand in the BofM. An idea: pull out the illustrated Book of Mormon for children and familiarize yourself with the stories. Then ask yourself is there a person or situation that you empathize with? Then try reading their story in the Book!
@NotBlindfolded@andrewklavan@RealMattFradd@SouthPark@SpencerKlavan When our kids are ridiculed at high school in Prosper, Texas, USA, it feels less harmless jokes and more like religious bigotry. Matt Fradd ignores or distorts facts that dispute his claims. He propogates half-truths. It's propaganda, not a light-hearted discussion.
@K289Rando@KimballCall@andrewklavan@RealMattFradd@SouthPark@SpencerKlavan There are many refutations on X in response. There have been refutations to these talking points for years. Wait? You didn't see them? That's because they weren't promoted by The Daily Wire. Go follow Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints if you want to know the truth
@Connor_Shack We believe Joseph Smith was visited and ordained by Peter, James, and John on the banks for the Susquehanna river in 1829. Direct line of authority from our perspective.
@PeacemakingSt Me, but I unsubscribed when Fradd did his interview in March about our religion with a non-member. My year renewal would have been coming up in June.
