And now for a small break from plastic modeling. I present to you #ApogeeComponents 1/20ish scale X-15 flying model rocket. I haven't messed with these since the 80s, but figure my kids might like the show. Almost ready for paint and then to get lost in a tree.

Linberg's 1956 tooling of the Curtiss F11C-2 Goshawk in 1/48 is as done!

@doctordoc It fits together better than I ever imagined a kit from 1956 would. I'd highly suggest checking out https://t.co/x2wDZiHxro and get their resin update set, some apoxie sculpt, and some archer rivets. Other than that, and some patience, you'll enjoy yourself. But...thank you!

@bongo_mullet You're very kind. I really enjoyed this. The kit went together very well. The only issue is the detail. It took some resin aftermarket for the cockpit and engine/cowling, some apoxie sculpt for various areas that needed some shaping, and some resin rivets.
