@francesweetman This is a very likely fracturing of the labour party. This is why this is not the main election. It is just the initial stage . Not the destination. We are heading for a new middle ground .

@jjsmclaughlin @KomradeKlassics It will depend on how they react and regroup. I would personally prefer left of center. But if labour doesn’t listen to the population, and not activists and the media, they will not be in more than one term.

@JesmondDavid @francesweetman This election was about the removal of the Tories. Labour can’t fracture or lose connection with the population . Which is very possible. If it does then reform will get stronger. They are now in parliament. This election is about 2029

@francesweetman This is all about 2029. If they don’t keep the population happy and go to ideological there will be a swing right. It won’t be the Tories. Labour need to prevent going snp and too ideological up their own arse. Otherwise we will follow Europe

@afneil My feelings exactly. This is a warning signal for 2029. If labour underperforms to what the public wants there is going to be a backlash. Labour and the tories will both have internal civil wars.

@michael_merrick @Fox_Claire Starmer will never meet what the people want once Tories are gone because of this. There will be a backlash and it won’t be left. We should be looking towards 2029
