GPT Sol is sooo much better for me right now across almost every task: thinking, coding, writing.
Opus keeps sending me in circles, and Fable hits limits before I can really get into a flow.
The gap feels surprisingly noticeable right now.
The big unlock IMO is making live shopping feel aspirational.
Right now the format still feels hard to imagine for more tasteful / design-led brands. If someone cracks a format that feels elevated while keeping the conversion power of live, I think it could be huge.
There’s going to be an entire economy of professional live shoppers.
People who are just really good at selling live: charismatic, product-obsessed, quick on their feet, a little bit of showmanship.
Brands should be able to hire them like they hire creators today. Someone needs to build the marketplace.
I’ve always wanted a more delightful way to dedicate a song to someone, not just send them a link.
music feels like such an easy way to say something to someone, and we literally used to make each other mixtapes!!
so for fun, I started building it - still WIP, but it lets you dedicate songs to your friends and hopefully brings back a bit of that mixtape nostalgia. will release it soon :)
I keep thinking fashion is such an interesting recession indicator. When people feel anxious, we seem to gravitate toward muted colors, minimalism, quiet luxury.
now bold color, bigger silhouettes and maximalism are back. Are we… feeling optimistic again?
trying something new here
I have so many ideas floating around. Business ideas, things I wish apps did differently, random observations, rabbit holes I fall into.. instead of letting them live in my gmail drafts (yes, i have 103844994), I’m going to start sharing them here.
Congrats to our community member @milonisheth on launching @shopwithnaia

I don’t think you can be a top 1% entrepreneur without these 3 traits:
1. Delusion - the ability to believe something should exist before evidence allows that belief.
Without this, you defer to consensus and never start.
2. Optimism - the bias that effort will compound rather than collapse.
Without this, friction looks like signal to stop instead of noise to push through.
3. Neuroticism - heightened sensitivity to risk, detail, and status.
Without this, you miss weak signals, ship sloppily, or get blindsided.
@vixsheikh Excellent read! The geologist mindset is also deeply curious, and innately one of the best ways to cultivate strong product sense. Really powerful metaphor!
I also love the nudge to approach research as real conversations rather than just interviews.
4. Evaluate trade-offs: Assess the trade-offs associated with these new possibilities.
This approach is effective for guiding decision-making and navigating complex trade-offs.
Additionally, A/B testing extremes can also enhance understanding of customer needs and behaviors.
@vixsheikh @hpdailyrant Very well said!
I'd also add that you can "find growth through friction."
Meaningful friction can be surprisingly rewarding if implemented thoughtfully, and in service of a long term goal.
