Here's a 1-star review to balance that out: I ordered a flagpole, bracket and an accessory from the Eagle Mountain Flag website May 8, 2026. I received the accessory but I followed up May 26 when the other items didn't arrive. Nudged on May 28.

June 6 I informed them I'd be filing a credit card dispute and that got me an answer from Desiree explaining there was an error and my order would be shipped that day. No notice of shipping, no product received.

By June 26 I responded back having received nothing. No answer. I have asked them again today July 18 to respond and fulfill the order. I don't know what went wrong--things go wrong--but they have not acted honorably.

Like watching sunset at the beach from the most foreign seat in the cosmos, I couldn’t resist a cell phone video of Earthset. You can hear the shutter on the Nikon as @Astro_Christina is hammering away on 3-shot brackets and capturing those exceptional Earthset photos through the 400mm lens. @AstroVicGlover was in window 3 watching with @Astro_Jeremy next to him.

I could barely see the Moon through the docking hatch window but the iPhone was the perfect size to catch the view…this is uncropped, uncut with 8x zoom which is quite comparable to the view of the human eye. Enjoy.

Mission Control woke the astronauts this morning with a message recorded by Apollo 8 astronaut Jim Lovell. Lovell, who was on the first crew to circle the Moon in December 1968, and commanded the ill-fated Apollo 13 mission, died in August 2025.

We’ve received approval to develop Space Launch Complex-37 for Starship operations at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. Construction has started.

Faint, but definitely visible: That's Starship, launched ~7 mins prior from Texas, visible from the Space Coast of Florida as a "jellyfish" crossing the sky.

This was seriously cool.
