@CounsellingSam Well they’re definitely not in Devon, we have so few this year. I have loads of buddleia in the garden and only a very few butterflies when the bushes are normally covered in them. Weird !

I would accept dogs in a pub but have seen a huge increase of owners allowing their dogs to climb on tables and seating. Awful. Gone are reasonable owners quietly having their dogs under the table. I would however object to a dog in a restaurant

@Jenny_1884 Gosh no. I think it should go further. Having watched two family members with dementia die slowly and not the way they wanted stuck in a hates nursing home environment this bill doesn’t go nearly far enough. There needs to be proper checks and balances to protect vulnerable.

@AlisonMitchell Having spent quit a lot of time in Oz , he’s right. Sport of every kind runs through almost every child and family in Aus. They also have the climate to be able to play and enjoy most sports all year round. Here you have to be a dedicated kid or parent to brave our conditions.

Most putting in the same kind of hours p week as junior Dr. I think this was the OP point plus playing a male dom sport as young players. Quite some obstacles to overcome

@ASo1omons Wow in the Uk 10% is normal. If you asked me to pay 30% I’d say the business owner for sure should be paying them a decent salary to start with. Tipping should be for service over and above what would be expected as standard job service, not subsidising someone’s wages.
