A lot of you can't read people. When i spoke about Gen. Christopher Musa then that the man was being overrated some people came for me. I soldier talking the way he was doing even as CDS was a serious red flag. So what has happened since he became Minister of Defence that you all celebrated? From the information I gathered, Gen. Christopher Musa was the only person El-Rufai purposely begged President Tinubu for his appointment, with the believe that it will end the insecurity in Southern Kaduna. This was even before Tinubu was sworn in as president.

It is that same man he is saying didn't want anybody from SK, and who divided Kaduna to North and South because the man has fallen out with the regime who are now illegally locking him up and Musa is now a cabinet minister in the regime, and he is a willing toll to use in their bid to try do everything to demonise the man. What a primitive and uncivilized way to govern a country. If El-Rufai actually didn't like the people of Southern Kaduna like Gen. Musa is trying to paint, why will he use his position and closeness to Tinubu to beg that one of them be appointed into such a sensitive position? Or is Gen. Musa not from Southern Kaduna? Is he not a Christian? Were there no other other Fulani Generals as at when El-Rufai was doing this? Common now.

The truth about this whole thing is that, the only thing El-Rufai didn't do to end the insecurity in Southern Kaduna was refusing to pay the elders and leaders of the area and massage their egos. El-Rufai was very blunt and they didn't like that.

The questions Gen. Musa should answer is, if El-Rufai divided Kaduna between North and South as governor, who divided it before he became governor in 2015? Or did Gen. Musa's history only start from when El-Rufai was governor?

🇲🇱 JUST IN - JNIM/FLA Fighters Release Surrendered Malian Soldiers, Provide Cash and Safe Passage

Sources in Mali report that fighters from Jama’at Nusrat al-Islam wal-Muslimin (JNIM) and the Azawad Liberation Front (FLA) have released Malian army soldiers who surrendered during recent clashes.

The militants reportedly gave each soldier 10,000 CFA francs for transport and ensured safe passage out of the area.

Video footage from the scene shows armed fighters distributing banknotes to disarmed troops, who were seen carrying personal belongings and boarding trucks to leave.

The release is linked to negotiated withdrawals in areas such as Tessit in the Ansongo region, where Malian forces reportedly handed over weapons in exchange for safe exit.

FLA/JNIM forces have taken control of Kidal and parts of Gao and Bourem, while also overrunning positions in Mopti and Sévaré before partial re-entry by Malian forces. Malian troops and allied Russian Africa Corps elements have withdrawn or negotiated exits from several northern positions.

JNIM has called on Malian troops nationwide to surrender, offering safe passage in some cases while maintaining pressure on government positions.

Authorities in Bamako maintain that the situation is under control in the capital and parts of the south, with air operations carried out against rebel positions.
