I have been experimenting with Ktor to create servers instead of NodeJS and so far enjoying it. The best part I get to use Kotlin everywhere (client and server code). I'll be sharing my learnings through posts and articles. Here's the first one: https://t.co/41LLctAW1i

Dementia is not a normal part of aging. Early diagnosis and intervention can be extremely beneficial for Alzheimer's disease. It can allow you to receive the support and care you need and improve your quality of life.💜 #WorldAlzheimersDay
Over 55 million people worldwide are living with dementia in 2020, and that number will double almost every 20 years. I lost both my maternal grandparents to dementia. I wish I had known the signs earlier. Early intervention is so important.

📣 The way we talk about suicide matters.
Tomorrow is #WorldSuicidePreventionDay, using the right words to talk about suicide is essential to breaking down stigma and preventing it.
Here's how to post and talk about it safely, in a way that helps people open up 👇 1/6
Part/2: Suicide can affect anyone. It is NOT a sign of weakness. It's just an indication that the person is feeling extremely alone. So we @mindaid_ want to create a community where an individual is able to talk freely and seek help with no judgement. #therapistspeak
Part/1: On #WorldSuicidePreventionDay Sept 10, we want to highlight that suicide is preventable, if we know the signs. India has the HIGHEST suicide rate in the South-East Asian region. So please look out for these signs in your loved ones and seek help!

So true! It's also helpful to ask yourself -
"What's the thought that's bothering me the most right now?"
And then focusing on just challenging that one thought.
Overwhelm stems from a lack of Clarity.
Simple activity:
Write down the answer to this question:
"If you could only get one thing done today, and it would be a win, what would it be?"
Now ignore everything else and focus on that one thing.
Poof...
Overwhelm gone (for now).
Research suggests that strength or resistance training is not only beneficial for our body, but also for our mind, and can protect us against depression, anxiety, and dementia. 💪🏼🧠
