Shocked that NYT, WSJ and WaPo do not have headline coverage of the protests in Iran.
The IRGC falling would be one of the best events for American national security in my lifetime. American support for the protesters would be meaningful.
Why is mainstream media not interested in covering it?
Where the fuck is everybody on Iran?
I’ve seen endless protests for Gaza. Screaming. Chanting. Blocking streets. Harassing people. Destroying careers. People willing to risk everything — jobs, reputations, safety — supposedly in the name of the “oppressed.”
But Iran?
Crickets.
Where’s the outrage for the Iranian people living under a brutal theocratic regime?
Where’s the rage for women who don’t have basic rights?
For girls beaten, jailed, or killed for not wearing a hijab “correctly”?
For journalists, artists, LGBTQ people, dissidents — silenced, tortured, disappeared?
Nothing. No marches. No tents. No screaming into megaphones. No viral chants.
Dr. Mahmoud al-Zahar, one of Hamas' founders and senior spokesmen, is Hamas' "expert on Jewish affairs". A book he published in 2020 summarizes the core elements of his antisemitic doctrine, an evidence of the Hamas leadership's ideology; A seized Hamas document found in the Gaza Strip instructed the movement's spokesmen against the use of anti-Jewish expressions, but al-Zahar's antisemitic perception provided inspiration for the atrocities committed during the Hamas terrorist attack and massacre on October 7, 2023.

The 2025 peace laureate Maria Corina Machado arrived safely in Oslo, Norway in the early morning of 11 December.
It was the first time in two years that she was able to embrace her daughter Ana (depicted in the first image) and the rest of her family. She was welcomed by an excited and emotional crowd.
Maria Corina Machado has received the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize “for her tireless work promoting democratic rights for the people of Venezuela and for her struggle to achieve a just and peaceful transition from dictatorship to democracy.”
Assimilation is the point. If you want to come to our country, follow the rules, adopt our culture, teach your children to love this country, speak English, integrate, and contribute.
The Palestinian Authority continues its policy of “Pay-for-Slay”, monthly payments to terrorists and their families as rewards for attacks on Israelis.
Although the PA claims to have ended this practice, it has not stopped.
In this video, a European Commission spokesperson confirms that these payments are still taking place, showing that the system of financially incentivizing violence remains in force.
I stepped into one of the most hostile rooms I’ve faced to debate a motion built on a false premise. The outcome was decided long before I spoke. A crowd of European keffiyeh-wearing students made it clear that facts were irrelevant.
Showing up still mattered.
🍂 Happy Thanksgiving! 🍁
Grateful for the little moments, the big laughs, and the people who make life feel lighter, kind of like having your own Hobbes around.
Hope your day is full of warmth, good food, and even better company.

Every parent should read @JonHaidt's latest. But note that the kids most resistant to the Devil's brew of smartphones and social media are the ones who are conservative and religious. Secularization paved the way for the descent into despondency that Jon has so ably documented.
